It's easy enough to believe that Bernard Henry Bredimus was born in Yuba County California on 9 May 1881, but Alfred Powell Dole was born there in January 1878 and Hawaii beats Bredimus for being a more interesting name. Looks like Dole was born in Hawaii but Bredimuis wasn't born anywhere. Maybe in Thailand? Maybe in Hawaii?
